About the DBSA NW CT Webmaster

Hello there! I'm Dennis, merely one of many who brings you the DBSA of Northwest CT Support Group. I'm an accredited DBSA support-group facilitator, and a longtime Internet fanatic.

I manage a few other Web sites, in addition to this one. Among them are:

• My personal Web site on SNET (mostly dealing with history)

People often ask me why my email address has the handle “PsiCop” in it. Well, I'll tell you — it's a reference to the television show Babylon 5. In it, there is an organization for human telepaths, known as PsiCorps. This group is policed by extra-powerful telepaths called — appropriately — PsiCops. They are a generally ruthless bunch who place telepaths' welfare above all others. Walter Koenig (best known as Chekov in Star Trek) played a particular nasty PsiCop named Bester. I always loved him — and the whole notion of PsiCorps — hence my handle.

I've been designing Web sites since late '93, back when the only way to create them (on Windows machines anyway) was in Notepad. (How primitive!) I currently use HTML-Kit, by Chami, which is completely free, and extremely versatile. There's literally no better bargain on the Internet!
